FRANCE DEMOLISH IRELAND TO END GRAND SLAM HOPES

Ireland 27 – 42 France (HT: 6-8)

France stunned Ireland in Dublin, producing a powerful second-half performance to secure a 42-27 victory and end Ireland’s Grand Slam ambitions. Despite losing Antoine Dupont to injury in the first half, France’s dominant pack and electric backline tore Ireland apart with a 24-point burst in 12 minutes. Louis Bielle-Biarrey starred with a brace, while Paul Boudehent and Oscar Jegou also crossed as Les Bleus overwhelmed the Irish defense. Dan Sheehan gave Ireland hope early in the second half, but a yellow card to Calvin Nash proved costly, as France exploited their numerical advantage. SCOTLAND HOLD OFF WALES’ LATE SURGE TO SECURE HISTORIC WIN

Blair Kinghorn and Tom Jordan each scored twice, while Darcy Graham also crossed as Scotland dominated the first half, racing to a 28-8 lead at the break. Wales struggled to contain Finn Russell’s game management, and their errors were ruthlessly punished.
