FRANCE LEAVE IT LATE TO STUN TENACIOUS ITALY IN PARMA THRILLER
Italy 21 – 34 France (HT: 21-12)
France produced a dramatic late surge to escape with a 34–21 victory over Italy in Parma, scoring two tries in the final three minutes to maintain their unbeaten run in the 2025 Guinness Women’s Six Nations. The visitors struck first through Joanna Grisez after just two minutes, but a yellow card to Madoussou Fall-Raclot disrupted France’s early rhythm. Italy took full advantage, with Vittoria Vecchini powering over from a maul to level the scores before Aura Muzzo added a second after sustained pressure. France responded through Morgane Bourgeois, but Italy dominated possession and struck again before halftime through Silvia Turani, giving them a deserved 21–12 lead at the break — the first time France had trailed at halftime this Championship. After the interval, France tightened up and began clawing back momentum. Bourgeois landed a penalty before Romane Ménager crashed over to nudge France ahead. However, two missed penalties from Bourgeois and heroic Italian defence kept the outcome in doubt until the closing stages. With three minutes to go, Marine Ménager pounced on a spilled ball to seal the bonus-point try, and Alexandra Chambon added another just before the whistle to secure a flattering margin. Italy pushed France to their limits in a fierce, physical contest but ultimately couldn’t deny the visitors’ late class.

ENGLAND DOMINATE SCOTLAND TO SET UP GRAND SLAM SHOWDOWN
England 59 – 7 Scotland (HT: 42-0)
England stormed into the final round of the 2025 Guinness Women’s Six Nations with a Grand Slam decider in their sights, cruising to a commanding 59–7 victory over Scotland at Leicester’s Mattioli Woods Welford Road. The Red Roses were in imperious form from the outset, with Kelsey Clifford opening the scoring after patient work close to the line. Marlie Packer brought up her 50th international try soon after, before captain Zoe Aldcroft intercepted and sprinted in for a stunning solo score. Claudia MacDonald’s dazzling break made it 28-0 before Abbie Ward and Lark Atkin-Davies added further tries to send England into halftime 42-0 ahead, with Holly Aitchison perfect from the tee. MacDonald glided in for her second early in the second half to bring up 20 career tries, before Scotland finally got on the board just before the hour through Lisa Thomson after a TMO review. But Abby Dow then lit up the right wing with a sensational solo finish, fending off three defenders to score in the 73rd minute, before dotting down again five minutes later to seal a one-sided affair. England march on to Allianz Stadium for a potential title-clincher, while Scotland will reflect on a tough outing despite a valiant second-half showing.

IRELAND OVERPOWER WALES TO KEEP SIX NATIONS MOMENTUM
Wales 14 – 40 Ireland (HT: 7-21)
Ireland returned to winning ways in emphatic fashion with a 40–14 bonus-point win over Wales in Newport. Despite falling behind early to a Carys Cox try, the visitors dominated from then on, scoring six tries including braces from Aoife Wafer, Linda Djougang, and Dorothy Wall in a physically commanding performance. Wales struck first through Cox after a clever grubber and strong pressure forced a fumble, converted brilliantly by Keira Bevan. But Ireland quickly responded as Wafer’s powerful carry set up Djougang to crash over, before Wafer scored herself from close range. Despite Dannah O’Brien receiving a yellow card just before the break, Ireland still added a third try through Wall before halftime, taking a 21-7 lead into the interval. Ireland picked up where they left off, with Wall scoring again from a dominant maul to secure the bonus point. Djougang then powered over for her second, extending the lead to 33-7. Wales responded through Hannah Bluck’s strong run, but Ireland had the last word as Wafer capped a Player of the Match performance with her second try of the day. Enya Breen added two conversions in O’Brien’s absence as Ireland sealed a commanding win ahead of their Round Five clash with Scotland.
